There's a new Fox TV reality series called "More to Love", a spin-off of Fox's popular series, "The Bachelor". The show premiered this past week - which I missed.
Here's a little preview of the show for those of you who don't know about it...
One thing that really struck a chord with me as I was watching the preview commercials was when one of the contestants alluded to the idea that finally there was a show featuring "normal" girls as opposed to the Size 2 that the TV world portrays more often.
What the heck is "normal" anyways?
I'm irked when people say size 2 is normal and I'm just as annoyed when people say size 12 is normal. I don't think there is such a thing as "normal". We're all unique in our own ways. We all grow up in different environments and associate with people like ourselves - and just because they act, think, and look like us, we consider it normal. However, go somewhere else where people look totally different from you and you immediately think they're "abnormal".
I completely agree that normal does not exist.
