Is it right to criticize someone else's sense of fashion or beauty?
This is the question that came to mind as I saw this picture of Kelly Osbourne taken at Art of Elysium's 5th Annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles. Obviously Kelly thought she looked great when she decided to put on this dress and dye her hair grey. Or perhaps she was influenced by someone who encouraged her to try out this look. Depending on what YOU think is fashionable, this whole look good be pretty...or it could be just downright awful.
Well, apparently many people believe that Kelly's look just doesn't flatter her one bit. If you read the comments on this page, some say that her spot on E! Fashion Police should be taken away.
Sometimes you have to take risks in life, and perhaps this was one of those moments for Kelly Osbourne. You have to admit that this whole look is different and unusual.
But going back to my question....Is it right to criticize someone else's fashion or beauty sense? Well, we are certainly entitled to our own opinion. I have a right to say that Kelly's outfit makes her look a bit older. We can all share our opinion and offer constructive criticism without being mean.
The bottom line is that it is just an opinion. As with any art, fashion and beauty is very subjective.
